What is involved in designing my website?
If you have a logo, it is the first thing we like to see. From this we can determine the colours to include in your website and possibly the best fonts to use. If you don't have a logo we will go through colours with you and you are free to choose whatever colour you like. It makes it easy for everyone when we know what you like. We'll ask you to look at other websites and let us know what ones you like. By looking at these we can get a feel for the type of designs and elements you like, making it easier to prepare a draft website for you. Drafts will be uploaded in a private area of your website where your visitors cannot see it but you can view the content and either approve the work or request further changes. Once all drafts are complete and you have approved the design, your website will be live!

Where do you offer services?
How do I get my website on the first page of Google?
There is no easy way to do this because good search engine rankings take careful planning followed by a lot of work and follow-up. Reading this blog entry on Search Engine Ranking basics is a good starting point and an enormous amount of material is available on the web (try Googling "how to make my website appear on a google search", paying particular attention to pages belonging to Google themselves). Be skeptical of parties making claims of instant number 1 rankings on Google because being penalized because of the tactics used by unreputable operators can severely impact on your online identity and take a long time to negate. It takes the time and the right strategies to bring up a site n the first line of the rankings. Allow us to do that for your site. It may take you over a year to get a grasp on these matters if you do not have in-depth knowledge on SEOs already.
Should I register more than one domain name?
Ultimately you only need one domain name to use with your website and to allow people to find you. However, there are a number of reasons why it may be beneficial to register more than 1 name: - You trade internationally - where you have markets in other countries it can be beneficial to register a domain name in those countries. - Where you want to protect the value of your brand by preventing competing businesses using the same or a similar name with a different extension. - To prevent confusion - if you register yourcompany.com.au as well as yourcompany.com and point both names to the same website your visitors will find you whether they remember to add the .au or not. - To help with search engine positioning. - By registering additional names you can help cover other names that customers may use when searching for you.

What is Responsive Design?
'Responsive Design' allows users to view websites on mobile devices to access them in a user-friendly way. Now a days, many visit websites on smart phones or Kindles and the number is increasing. Responsive designs enhance the overall viewing experience for mobile visitors. Responsive Web design is the approach that suggests that design and development should respond to the user's behavior and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation. The practice consists of a mix of flexible grids and layouts, images and smart use of CSS media queries. The website should accommodate for: Resolution, Image Size, and Scripting Abilities. In short, responsive websites have the technology to respond to the user's preferences.
How can U tell if a website is responsive?
- Go to your own site.
- Click on the icon in the top right corner of your screen to restore your page down (it's just to the left of the ).
- Place your cursor over the extreme right hand edge of the page so that the cursor changes to the double headed arrow symbol .
- Drag the cursor/side bar to the left. If your site is responsive, then the layout of the content will change as you hit the break points for tablet and mobile. If you drag your side bar all the way over and all you're doing is narrowing the view, then your site isn't responsive. To see what should be happening, repeat the steps above on our own SolutionGrid.com site which you're currently on. SolutionGrid.com delivers responsive websites as standard. We're doing responsive sites at a price that many companies cannot.
